At Alpenglow Agency, we’re all about rolling up our sleeves and getting to work on meaningful projects that serve our communities—and our work with Oregon Learns is no exception. This platform offers free, open-access continuing education for Traditional Health Workers (THWs), and it’s built to help those who dedicate their time to keeping our communities healthy.

The Mission

When Oregon Learns approached us, they aimed to create a space to efficiently deliver educational resources to rural Oregon healthcare workers. These front-line workers are the boots on the ground, and they need tools that make it easy for them to grow their skills, support their patients, and navigate ever-evolving healthcare demands.

We were all in, designing a site that’s simple to navigate but packed with powerful tools to help these healthcare workers excel.

What We Cooked Up

We wanted Oregon Learns to feel as straightforward as a well-packed backpack—easy to carry but with everything you need when you hit the trail. Here’s what we built:

• Simple and Intuitive Navigation: We kept things as clear as a sunny morning. The layout makes it easy for health workers to find training courses on key topics like SOAP Documentation and Serious Illness Care, with just a few clicks.
• Progress Tracking: For many of the courses, including the Traditional Health Worker Overview, users can track their progress and move from module to module only after mastering each step. This ensures that everyone’s getting the most out of their training, not just breezing through.
• Accessible Anywhere: Whether they’re at home or out in the field, users can access Oregon Learns from any device. From desktops to smartphones, we ensured the site responds like a swiss-army-knife, always ready to go.

Why It Matters

Oregon Learns is all about lifting the people out there daily and working hard to care for our communities. This platform makes it easier for Traditional Health Workers to get the training they need, no matter where they are.
