RAD Precision Website Design & Development

Starting a business is a big leap. Starting one in a field as technical as CNC programming and Renishaw integration is an even bigger one. So when Bend, Oregon-based RAD Precision came to us to build their site, we knew this one mattered. This wasn’t a rebrand for an established shop. This was a brand-new company building something from scratch, and the website needed to carry that weight.
Where We Started
RAD Precision had already tried building a site once, but it wasn’t quite where the founder wanted it. The bones were there, but the site didn’t yet look or feel like a company that works with defense contractors and precision machine shops. It needed a full brand identity and a site that actually matched the level of work RAD Precision does.
Here’s what went into it:
- A full brand identity, from the logo to the color palette, built to feel sharp and trustworthy, not off-the-shelf.
- A homepage that gets straight to the point: Renishaw integration, applications engineering, and remote CAM programming, laid out clearly so a shop owner can find what they need fast.
- A dedicated ITAR and CMMC compliance page, since a lot of RAD’s work touches defense-grade projects where data security isn’t optional.
- A detailed FAQ section covering everything from tool libraries to file sharing to which CAM software RAD supports (Fusion 360, Mastercam, Esprit EDGE), so customers know what to expect before they ever pick up the phone.
- A clean partner and software bar up top, so visitors immediately see the tools and brands RAD works with.
- A site built to grow.

We built it in Elementor on WordPress, and made sure the styling was baked into the theme itself so the founder wouldn’t have to fuss with fonts and colors every time he adds a new page. We also put together a custom how-to guide so he can make edits himself without needing to call us for every small change.
Why It Matters
RAD Precision is a company built around a real skill set: helping machine shops get their programming right the first time, without the six-week wait for a dealership. A cluttered or generic website would’ve undercut that. Now the site actually looks like what it is, a serious, capable engineering partner that happens to be based right here in Bend.
