Alpenglow Agency Sponsors the 2026 Earth Day Fair & Parade: A Commitment to Sustainability
We’re happy to say Alpenglow Agency is sponsoring the 2026 Earth Day Fair & Parade, put on by The Environmental Center. It’s happening Saturday, April 25th from 11am to 3pm. This is one of our favorite days of the year in Central Oregon. It’s a chance for the whole community to show up and celebrate the planet together.
And this year, there’s a fun twist. The fair is moving to Alpenglow Park while The Environmental Center’s building in downtown Bend is under construction. Hard to say no to an event that shares our name.
What’s Happening at the Fair
The day starts with opening remarks from The Environmental Center. Then comes the Earth Day parade, led by Lava City Cirque with stilt walkers, unicyclists, and performers dressed as butterflies and nature sprites. After that, there’s music and dance from Red Clan of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and Hokule’a of Central Oregon, a kids’ activity zone, free face painting, and local food and vendor booths running all day.
Why We’re Involved
We care about sustainability, not just websites. We give a portion of our sales to environmental causes every year.
This isn’t our first project with The Environmental Center either. We rebuilt their WordPress site a while back, and we sponsored last year’s Green Building Tour too. Sponsoring the Earth Day Fair just felt like the next natural step.
Why It Matters
Events like this are a good reminder that caring about the environment doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it just looks like a parade and a good meal from a local food truck. Our work in Bend, Oregon WordPress web design follows the same idea, we try to build sites that work well and don’t cost the planet to run.
